We have started on a hectic note sports wise. We are proud of the achievements and progress registered by some of our teams.

CRICKET

We are very proud of our cricket first team which is unbeaten so far. Results for matches played so far are as follows:

Cricket Vs Wise Owl

1st team:

Wise Owl batted first and had 102 runs for the fall of 10 wickets in 22.2 overs.

Goldridge College managed to reach 103 runs for the fall of 6 wickets in 23.1 overs.

Result: Goldridge College won by 4 wickets.

U16 team:

Wise Owl batted first and had 152 runs for the fall of 10 wickets in 28 overs.

Goldridge College managed to reach 62 runs all out.

Result: Wise Owl won by 90 runs.

Cricket Vs Kwekwe High School

1st team:

Kwekwe High batted first and had 106 runs for the fall of 10 wickets in 22 overs

Goldridge College managed to reach 103 runs for the fall of 4 wickets in 17.5 overs.

Result: Goldridge College won by 6 wickets.

U16 team:

Kwekwe High batted first and had 68 runs for the fall of 10 wickets.

Goldridge College managed to reach 69 runs for the fall of 6 wickets.

Result: Goldridge College won by 4 wickets.

U14 team:

Goldridge batted first and had 44 runs for the fall of 10 wickets.

Kwekwe High managed to reach 45 runs for the fall of 2 wickets in 6 overs.

Result: Kwekwe High won by 8 wickets

 

TENNIS

We are proud that Rutendo Makoni and Nolwazi Dube were selected into the Midlands Team that went for further selection in Bulawayo. Rutendo was selected as a reserve for the Southern Region Team. Well done.

Junior Tennis Vs Wise Owl

They played doubles for 4 couples: Goldridge College won 4-0.

In the singles Goldridge College won 8-0.

BASKETBALL
